Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Manual & Automation QA Engineer to ensure quality and performance of software applications. You will design robust testing strategies, combining hands-on verification with automated testing to support continuous delivery.

You will join a global, 100% remote team and work on impactful projects, with excellent compensation in USD or local currency, plus hardware/software setup for home work and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Experience in test planning and creating detailed test cases.
• Experience with manual, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Experience validating API endpoints and UIs and documenting defects.
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD integration.
• Advanced/proficient English required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases based on system requirements.
• Perform structured manual, regression, and exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and defects.
• Validate API endpoints and user interfaces to guarantee functional reliability and a seamless user experience.
• Track, document, and manage defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to optimize coverage and integrate verification steps into CI/CD pipelines.
