Chevron Venezuela is seeking a Reliability Superintendent in El Tigre to lead the reliability function for upstream assets. You will develop strategies to maximize availability, integrity, safety and lifecycle performance, coordinating across Operations, Maintenance, Process Safety, Engineering and Planning.

The role requires 15+ years in reliability or asset management, strong RCA/RCM/RBI expertise, and experience directing technical teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in reliability engineering or asset management.
• Strong experience leading technical personnel and cross-functional reliability programs.
• Experience with RCA, RCM, RBI, FMEA, reliability analytics, condition monitoring and LCCA.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement reliability plans and asset strategies for critical production equipment and systems.
• Establish processes to prevent or reduce failures and recurring performance issues.
• Lead RCA and systemic failure investigations; ensure corrective and preventive actions address root causes.
• Apply RCM, RBI, FMEA, reliability modeling and LCCA techniques.
• Monitor availability, MTBF, MTTR, maintenance costs and asset performance indicators.
• Govern condition monitoring and predictive maintenance activities (vibration, thermography, lubrication, ultrasound, electrical diagnostics).
• Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance to optimize preventive and predictive maintenance plans and spare-parts strategies.
• Verify critical equipment is designed, installed, tested, inspected and maintained per standards.
• Lead reliability improvement, equipment modernization and obsolescence-management evaluations.
• Manage team workload, set priorities, coach members and develop reliability capability.
• Communicate asset risks and recommendations to PP Upstream leadership and stakeholders.
