Applaudo is seeking an experienced Android Developer to deliver scalable native Android apps. You will build from scratch, define API needs, and prototype new technologies while partnering with product, design, and engineering teams.

We look for strong Kotlin/Java skills, Jetpack Compose experience, and a solid grasp of MVVM and Clean Architecture. Collaboration with US stakeholders and a focus on clean, maintainable code are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years building native Android apps.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java with OO design on Android.
• Strong understanding of Android ecosystems, architectures and new tech.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android patterns.
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture and MVVM.
• Experience integrating with REST, SOAP or GraphQL web services.
• Proficient with XML/JSON data formats.
• Git or similar version control experience required.
• Excellent communication and advanced English; able to work with US stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Build native Android apps from scratch following best practices.
• Define API requirements and consume RESTful services efficiently.
• Prototype new Android technologies for value demonstration.
• Participate in Agile processes to deliver features end-to-end.
• Collaborate with Designers, Product, and Developers to solve challenges.
• Adhere to UI/UX guidelines for high-quality experiences.
