BairesDev, a technology leader with 15+ years of experience, is seeking a Java Distributed Systems Engineer to design and build complex distributed systems ensuring data consistency and high availability at scale.

You will apply advanced systems programming, work with Java, gRPC, and microservices, and collaborate with global teams to deliver scalable, fault-tolerant services. 100% remote, competitive USD compensation, and opportunities for growth.

Formación

8+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems.
Proven experience designing and building systems with consensus, replication, and fault tolerance.
Advanced proficiency in Java and high-performance networking with gRPC.
Deep understanding of microservices architectures and distributed consistency protocols.
Strong background in systems programming beyond CRUD operations.
Excellent English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

Architect and implement distributed coordination and consensus protocols.
Design highly available architectures with data replication to avoid single points of failure.
Optimize Java-based services for low latency and high throughput using gRPC.
Develop fault-tolerance mechanisms including self-healing and automated recovery.
Collaborate with teams to define consistency models and address concurrency challenges.
Ensure reliability and performance through rigorous testing of distributed failure scenarios.
