BairesDev is seeking a Senior Java Tech Lead to own the reactive, event-driven platform, guiding service architecture, API contracts, and Domain-Driven Design across the team. You will mentor engineers, set standards for testing, observability, and security, and drive deployment practices including CI/CD on cloud and Kubernetes.

In this 100% remote role, you will collaborate with product stakeholders across time zones, ensure high-quality software delivery, and shape the technical direction

Formación

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Spring Boot and Spring Reactive expertise.
• Hands-on Kafka or comparable messaging platform experience.
• Angular 18 and TypeScript experience.
• Domain-Driven Design background.
• Microservices and cloud-native architecture familiarity.
• Upper-intermediate English for cross-team leadership.

In this role, you'll be the hands-on tech lead for a reactive, event-driven platform, owning service architecture and API contracts while enforcing Domain-Driven Design principles. Integrating frontend applications with Spring Reactive microservices streaming through Kafka, you'll set engineering standards across testing, code reviews, observability, and security. What You'll Do

What We Are Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot with Spring Reactive.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or a comparable messaging platform.
• Experience with Angular 18 and TypeScript.
• Strong background in Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native architecture.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency, required for cross-team leadership and customer-facing discussions.

Nice To Have

• Experience with AWS.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
