Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Data Architect to design and govern data strategy using Medallion Architecture, shaping how data is modeled from unstructured sources to deliver reliable, well-structured assets.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, define taxonomy for the data warehouse, and ensure transformation logic enables downstream teams to rely on high-quality data. This is a 100% remote role with USD compensation options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Data Services.
• Proven experience with data modeling from unstructured data.
• Deep knowledge of Medallion Architecture.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with taxonomy creation.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience with schema architecture and relational/dimensional modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and define data strategy using Medallion Architecture in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Model data from unstructured sources into clean, usable structures.
• Design the governed data architecture and canonical taxonomy for the data warehouse.
• Define transformation logic ensuring downstream consumers can rely on data assets.
