What This Job Can Offer You

The Time & Attendance Specialist will ensure accurate and compliant management of Time & Attendance activities for Remote's external employees and clients. This is an individual contributor role with emphasis on legal compliance and delivering an exceptional employee experience while maintaining efficient processes. You will report to the Time & Attendance Manager.

What You Bring
  • Solid operational experience in HR across multiple roles, with a focus on HR generalist responsibilities in handling multiple countries.
  • Strong understanding of local and international labor laws and regulations related to time tracking, attendance, and leave management. Knowledge of HR best practices and trends in Time & Attendance management.
  • Proven experience implementing end-to-end time off and attendance policies based on country regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex Time & Attendance concepts clearly. Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with employees, clients, and internal teams.
  • Strong English writing and verbal communication abilities; proficiency in another language is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of Time & Attendance Standard Operating Procedures: Contribute to developing SOPs, ensuring they are up-to-date, efficient, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Maintain and update policies and procedures that align with legal requirements.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide SME support for internal and external queries related to Employee Lifecycle matters, particularly Time & Attendance. Collaborate with clients and employees to address inquiries and provide guidance on Time & Attendance issues.
  • Continuous Improvement of Employee Journey: Gather feedback from stakeholders and leverage best practices to enhance the employee journey and experience.
  • Data Management and Confidentiality: Meticulously manage employee data, ensuring it is current, secure, and confidential. Support reporting, audit, compliance, and data integrity initiatives.
  • Championing Remote's Values: Promote Remote's values internally and externally, contributing to the Lifecycle team's goals.

Remote Compensation Philosophy

Remote’s compensation philosophy aims for fair, unbiased pay and competitive benefits in all operating locations. We pay above in-location rates and use geo ranges to account for geographic pay differentials. The base salary range for this full-time position is $26,350 to $59,300, determined by role, level, and location. Actual pay depends on factors such as location, skills, experience, and market demand. The base range may change. Internal moves may be reviewed case by case by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team.
