A leading Catholic educational institution in Venezuela is seeking a passionate Graduate teacher to promote a positive learning environment. The candidate will be responsible for delivering explicit instruction in Literacy and Numeracy while upholding the Catholic ethos. Ideal applicants should possess VIT registration and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. This position requires collaboration with colleagues to ensure the well-being of students. Role Description/Criteria

Successful applicants must:

• Uphold and promote the Catholic ethos.
• Align with the MACS Vision for Instruction and MACS Vision for Engagement.
• Proven capability in delivering explicit instruction in key areas such as Literacy and Numeracy.
• Understand cognitive load theory.
• Implement best practice instruction, curriculum planning (evidence-based, knowledge-rich, coherent and sequenced) and assessment practice.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.

Key Requirements

• VIT registration and accreditation to teach in a Catholic school (or willingness to undertake accreditation).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusting, learning-focused relationships with staff, students and families.
• A commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
• A proactive approach to professional growth, including giving and receiving feedback.
