Chevron Corporation is hiring for a Buyer to manage procurement for equipment and materials, coordinating sourcing, purchasing, and order management across international suppliers. The role emphasizes timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with Chevron’s procurement standards.

Strong English is mandatory; Spanish is required for local environment. The position requires 4–5 years in SCM and a Bachelor’s in a related field, with experience in GEP SMART, SAP or JDE and complex coordination

Qualificações

• Four to five years in SCM, procurement, materials management, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into sourcing recommendations.
• Experience applying master agreements for material acquisition.
• Ability to coordinate with international suppliers across time zones.
• Familiarity with RFQs, bid evaluations, POs, expediting, and post‑award admin.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute annual procurement plans aligned with priorities.
• Prepare bid packages and RFQs with clear technical and commercial requirements.
• Identify and select suppliers based on capability, cost, and timelines.
• Procure standard materials and issue purchase orders per terms.
• Coordinate award, QA, expediting, and post‑award administration.
• Maintain supplier communication to meet delivery and schedule targets.
• Manage international suppliers, cross-border logistics, and documentation.
• Apply procurement tools (GEP SMART, SAP/JDE) and master agreements.
