Chevron seeks an SCM Business Analyst to drive analytics and category support for Facilities & Construction. You will develop spend analytics, dashboards, and KPI reports, analyze contract performance, and help guide sourcing strategies across engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with Category Managers, Procurement Specialists, and Finance to identify cost-saving opportunities, support budgeting, and monitor supplier performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering (preferred), business administration, economics, supply chain management, finance, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, contracts administration, category management, project controls, business analytics, or related fields.
• Experience supporting construction, oil & gas, industrial, infrastructure, or similar sectors.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical skills in spend analysis, cost benchmarking, commercial analysis, and reporting.
• Strong business writing and presentation skills.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain spend analytics, KPI dashboards, and sourcing performance metrics.
• Analyze contract utilization, supplier performance, cost trends, and market intelligence.
• Support annual business planning, contracting plans, contracting forecasts, and workload assessments.
• Generate management reports and executive presentations for SCM leadership and business partners.
• Identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities across the F&C portfolio.
• Assist Category Managers in developing and executing category strategies.
• Conduct spend segmentation, supplier mapping, market assessments, and benchmarking exercises.
• Support Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) initiatives and savings tracking.
• Maintain category plans, sourcing pipelines, and opportunity registers.
• Perform market research for construction, engineering, equipment, and industrial services.
• Prepare commercial analyses and evaluation scorecards for bidding processes.
• Participate in supplier prequalification and supplier performance reviews.
• Analyze supplier proposals, pricing models, and commercial terms.
• Support negotiation preparations through benchmarking and cost analysis.
• Ensure sourcing documentation and award recommendations are complete and auditable.
• Interface with Engineering, Project Management, Operations, HSE, Finance, and Legal teams.
• Support cross-functional workshops and sourcing strategy reviews.
• Facilitate alignment between business requirements and SCM strategies.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Maintain SCM databases, dashboards, SharePoint repositories, and reporting tools.
• Support data quality initiatives and SCM process improvements.
