An established industry player is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will perform diagnostic studies utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment, ensuring quality service to both client facilities and patients. Your expertise in patient care and diagnostic imaging will be essential as you operate advanced equipment and comply with health regulations. Formación

  • Must hold a current Nuclear Medicine Technologist license from California.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications are required if applicable.

Responsabilidades

Nuclear Med Tech - Medicine Technologist - Per Diem

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic studies utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment with minimum supervision.


The Nuclear Medicine Technologist duties include:
  1. Obtains and evaluates patient-related information in order to produce appropriate images.
  2. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related information to produce appropriate images.
  3. Provides quality services to client facilities and patients.
  4. Performs diagnostic studies; selects proper technique/protocol to obtain best data.
  5. Administers intravenous or venous line injections of radiopharmaceuticals as authorized by the physician.
  6. Operates and manipulates gamma camera to produce and process images.
  7. Provides safe transfers and assistance to patients.
  8. Operates equipment safely and according to equipment and client facility guidelines.
  9. Prevents the transfer of infection and blood borne contaminants.
  10. Complies with work instructions and meets quality and quantity criteria of client facility.
  11. Complies with policies and procedures of Quik Travel Staffing and client facility.
  12. Performs assignments in an independent and professional manner.
  13. Maintains current skills in order to perform the above duties in a timely and efficient manner.
  14. Observes and maintains compliance with all applicable client facility, JCAHO, Federal, State, & County regulations.
  15. Completes all other work assignments as assigned by client facility.

Minimum Qualifications for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  1. Current License/Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist issued by the State of California, Department of Health Services
  2. Must have CA License IN HAND to Apply
  3. Current Healthcare Provider CPR card and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification if required
