Job summary

Opaa! Food Management seeks a Director of Nutrition Services to lead the school district’s child nutrition program, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and HACCP standards.

The role oversees kitchen operations, staff performance, and district relationships, driving cost efficiency and service quality. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, experience in food service management, and the ability to liaise with district officials while upholding Opaa!’s core values and mission

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years of relevant food service supervisory experience.
• Experience with HACCP, safety regulations and compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication and budgeting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen production, food quality, and safety protocols.
• Maintain production records and compliance with meal patterns and POS.
• Hire, onboard and manage kitchen staff; schedule and HR compliance.
• Ensure menu adherence, cost controls and competition with service quality.
• Foster strong client relationships and coordinate district communications.
