Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Storage Solutions Specialist to drive the promotion and adoption of storage solutions within Venezuela's Financial Services sector, with a primary focus on banking clients. This role demands a professional with deep expertise in storage technologies, a solid understanding of banking industry requirements, and a proven ability to design and deliver tailored storage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical expert for Huawei's storage portfolio, focusing on the needs of financial services clients, particularly banks.
• Develop and execute targeted strategies to promote Huawei storage solutions, addressing specific banking industry challenges and requirements.
• Conduct in-depth assessments of client storage infrastructure, identify pain points, and design customized storage solutions that align with their business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to provide technical expertise during client engagements, including presentations, demonstrations, and solution discussions.
• Develop comprehensive storage architecture proposals, including data management, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions tailored for banking applications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key technical stakeholders and decision-makers within banking institutions.
• Stay current with emerging storage technologies, trends, and banking industry regulations to ensure solutions remain competitive and compliant.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, from initial consultation to solution implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred, with practical experience valued highly.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in presales, technical sales, or solutions architecture role focused on storage solutions.
• Must have extensive experience working with banking clients in Panama, with deep understanding of banking storage requirements and compliance needs.
• Proven experience with storage technologies
• Strong knowledge of storage architecture, including SAN/NAS, flash storage, software-defined storage, and data protection solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to design and propose storage solutions that address specific banking industry challenges and requirements.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in Spanish and working proficiency in English are mandatory.
• Willingness to travel within Venezuela as required to meet client needs.
