Outlier is seeking a QA Coder to audit AI-generated code and rate model responses. You will work remotely on a freelance, 1099 basis and contribute to live production codebases with guidance from dedicated support. English fluency and sharp attention to detail are essential.

Compensation includes hourly pay up to $34, plus additional incentives based on project metrics and surge pricing data. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work from anywhere in Latin America or beyond.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase, ideally for a tech company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions—accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write clear, well-structured computer science prompts to challenge AI models and push coding ability.
