Job summary

Taylor Print & Visual Impressions in Las Vegas, NV, seeks an Equipment Operator (Zund Cutter) for 2nd shift. You will set up, calibrate, and run Zünd cutting systems, ensuring quality and efficiency while following safety guidelines.

The role requires reading job tickets, CAD files, and production layouts, and collaborating with prepress and production teams to meet deadlines. Willingness to operate on 1st shift and overtime as needed is a plus.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
High attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital file formats (PDF, DXF).
Ability to read and interpret work orders and production layouts.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and processes.
Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
Reliability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate Zünd digital cutting equipment according to job specifications.
Load and align materials accurately on the cutting bed.
Interpret job tickets, CAD files, and production layouts to ensure accurate cuts.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment.
Monitor output for quality and consistency; make adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with prepress and production teams to ensure timely job completion.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Assist in other production areas as needed.
