Job summary

The Bernard Group, Inc. in Chanhassen, MN is seeking Machine Operators for the Cutting Department to convert printed materials into precise shapes using a Zund digital die cutting machine.

The role operates on a 36-hour week across three 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule every 4 months and overtime eligibility. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in printing, print operations, cutting, or machine operations is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate Zund cutting machines to form printed materials to customer specifications.
• Perform Quality Control (QC) procedures to meet Company standards.
• Perform maintenance of Zund machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines at beginning of each shift.
