We are seeking an experienced Zscaler Security Engineer to support enterprise security initiatives for a Fortune 100 client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, deployment, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions. This role is critical in strengthening cloud-based security posture and enabling zero-trust network access across a complex, global infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the deployment and management of Zscaler ZIA and ZPA platforms across the enterprise.
• Integrate Zscaler with identity providers (IdPs), SIEMs, firewalls, and endpoint security tools.
• Design and enforce Zero Trust policies and secure web gateway configurations.
• Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and security teams to implement best practices and improve security posture.
• Monitor and tune Zscaler traffic policies to ensure secure and efficient user experience.
• Troubleshoot Zscaler-related connectivity and performance issues.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Provide Tier 3 support and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for all things Zscaler.
• Assist in security incident response and risk mitigation activities related to web and private access.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering roles, with 2+ years hands-on Zscaler (ZIA and/or ZPA) experience.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, and IPsec tunnels.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrations with Zscaler.
• Experience with identity management (Okta, Azure AD) and proxy configurations.
• Proficient in analyzing logs, policy enforcement, and packet captures.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in high-stakes environments.

Preferred Certifications:

• Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP-IA / ZCCP-PA)
• Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator (ZCCA)
• CISSP, CCSP, or similar industry credentials
