Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Zscaler Architect to guide secure, zero-trust architectures across clients in a rapidly evolving technology landscape. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and delivering Zscaler-based solutions with emphasis on secure access, data protection, and governance.

You will lead workstreams, translate business and regulatory requirements into practical designs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes for complex engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years of relevant cybersecurity/technology consulting experience.
• Hands-on Zscaler implementation experience (ZIA/ZPA) in enterprise environments.
• Experience across zero trust, data protection, identity, cloud security, and privacy frameworks.
• Willingness to travel as required by client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined Zscaler security and data protection workstreams (discovery, requirements, design, configuration guidance, testing, deployment planning).
• Design and support Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange solutions (ZIA, ZPA, Digital Experience, Client Connector).
• Develop secure internet and SaaS access designs (secure web gateway, CASB, cloud firewall, SSL inspection).
• Create zero trust private application access designs (App Connector placement, third-party access, migration from VPN).
• Incorporate data protection requirements into Zscaler designs (cloud DLP, inline inspection, incident workflows).
• Support zero trust assessments, roadmaps, and architecture activities across multiple domains.
• Facilitate client workshops and interviews across security, privacy, legal, compliance, network, cloud, and identity teams.
• Translate requirements into architecture diagrams, traffic flows, policy models, migration plans, and test scenarios.
• Create reference patterns, design decisions, and implementation guidance for clients.
