Zohorecruit is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer focusing on report writing. Remote with some onsite work, you will work with a Techno-functional Lead and SAP team to update reporting across SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments.

You will apply deep ABAP development skills, CDS views, SAP Query, SmartForms and Adobe Forms to build and optimize reports and dashboards, including OData services for Fiori/UI5. Strong functional knowledge across multiple SAP modules is required.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of SAP experience with strong ABAP development and report writing.
• Strong ABAP programming skills (classical, OO, modern techniques).
• Deep knowledge of CDS views, AMDP, and HANA SQL scripting.
• Expertise in SAP SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and ALV Grid/Tree reports.
• Experience with S/4HANA Embedded Analytics and Fiori reporting apps.
• Hands-on experience building custom OData services and UI5/Fiori integration.
• Broad functional knowledge in at least two SAP modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, QM, PM, or EWM).
• Strong FIT-GAP analysis, functional design documentation, and testing.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile and/or ASAP project environments.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and deliver updated and new SAP reports (standard and custom) aligned with business requirements.
• Analyze reporting needs from specs and translate into new or updated reports.

Position Overview

We are seeking a experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developers with strong experience in Report Writing to join with a Techno-functional Lead and the end client SAP team to update the existing reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in technical development, with a primary focus on report writing, design, development, optimizationand testing across SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments. This role requires deep hands-on experience with ABAP, CDS views, SAP Query, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV reports, and OData services, along with a strong understanding of functional business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales & Distribution, Procurement, and Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Work with your team Lead in thedesign, development, delivery of updated and new SAP reports (standard and custom) aligned with business requirements.

Collaborate with your team lead and functional teams to analyze reporting and take written specs into new and or updated reports.

Develop reports using ABAP, CDS Views, ALV, SAP Query, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.

Create analytical reports and dashboards leveraging SAP Fiori, Embedded Analytics, and SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud).

Build and optimize OData services to support reporting in Fiori/UI5 applications.

Ensure reports are compliant with SAP best practices for performance, security, and scalability.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing reports, ensuring timely support for business operations.

Participate in end-to-end SAP project life cycles: requirements gathering, functional/technical design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and training to internal teams and end-users.

Act as a bridge between functional and technical teams, ensuring alignment and smooth delivery of reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

8-10+ years of SAP experience with strong ABAP development and report writing expertise.

Proficiency in ABAP programming (classical, OO, and modern techniques).

Strong knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS) views, AMDP, and HANA SQL scripting.

Expertise in SAP SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and ALV Grid/Tree reports.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics and Fiori reporting apps.

Hands-on experience building custom OData services and integrating with UI5/Fiori.

Broad functional knowledge in at least two SAP modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, QM, PM, or EWM).

Strong skills in FIT-GAP analysis, functional design documentation, and testing.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Prior experience working in Agile and/or ASAP methodology project environments.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP certification(s) in ABAP, S/4HANA, or reporting/analytics.

Experience with SAP BW/4HANA or legacy SAP BW is "nice to have"

Familiarity with integration to external reporting tools (BOBJ, Power BI, Tableau).

Prior consulting experience in global SAP support, rollouts and large-scale implementations.
