Sciencelogic Resource is seeking a Networking Monitoring and Automation professional for a remote, 6+ month engagement. You will develop applications using APIs, Python, and SQL, and lead coordination with internal and external teams.

The role may involve night and weekend deployments and requires strong communication and documentation skills. Experience with Sciencelogic or similar tools is preferred, and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in developing applications with API’s, Python, and SQL
• 5+ years’ experience in Network Engineering Operations, preferably with Federal customers
• Experience utilizing Python to Automate and write scripts for automation tools
• Experience with leading project tasks and coordinating with internal/external resources
• Experience with night and/or weekend deployments or cutovers
• Team player with ability to integrate with peer IT domains
• Ability to understand customer requirements and hit timelines
• Sensitive and flexible to customer needs and timelines
• Ability to deliver solutions under strict deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to write and maintain technical documentation with designs
• Experience with Sciencelogic or similar tools is preferred
• Ability to obtain a public trust clearance

Required Skills

• 5+ years’ experience in developing applications with API’s, Python, and SQL
  
• 5+ years’ experience in Network Engineering Operations, preferably with Federal customers
  
• Experience utilizing Python to Automate and write scripts for automation tools
  
• Experience with operating as a team lead, taking ownership for project tasks and coordination with both internal and external resources
  
• Experience working with on night and or weekend deployments or cutovers
  
• Team player that has ability to integrate well with peer technical domains in IT (Network, SDI, HPC, etc.)
  
• Ability to understand customer requirements and hit the ground running
  
• Very sensitive and flexible to customer needs, expectations, and timelines
