Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a senior technical professional to ensure system compatibility, integration, and secure operation across a complex C5ISR environment. The role involves network redesigns, automation work, and close collaboration with government customers in a secure lab setting.

Requirements include a BS degree and ten years of related experience, with hands-on experience in Ansible, AWS, network automation, and cyber engineering.

Qualifications

• BS degree required in engineering, physical science, physics, network security or computer science.
• Ten years of experience in relevant technical field incl. tech analysis, design, development, systems integration and logistics for C5ISR.
• Experience with network automation, Ansible and AWS is required.
• Five years of technical experience in cyber engineering, network infrastructure, virtualization, software development or cyber security.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating mission owner self-service use by ensuring compatibility and integration with external systems and platforms.
• Modifying and implementing the network between Amazon and the USMC.
• Evaluating and remediating potential security risks identified.
• Provide operations and customer support for all services including OS maintenance, VPC configuration, IAM, IPS, AD and WSUS.

• Modifying and implementing the network between Amazon and the USMC
• Evaluating and remediating potential security risks, where identified
• Providing operations and customer support for all services, to include, but not limited to:
  • Operating System Maintenance
  • VPC Configuration

  • SCCA Network Components (Cisco Routers and F5 devices)
  • SCCA firewall (Palo Alto)
  • Identity and Access Management - Active Directory (AD)

  • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

Requirements

• BS degree in engineering, physical science, physics, network security, computer science
• Ten years of experience in relevant technical field, to include: technology analysis and assessment, design definition, development of systems specification, systems analysis, systems architecture, systems/equipment integration, test & evaluation criteria, and logistics support of C5ISR requirements
• Experience with network automation
• Ansible experience
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
• Five years of technical experience in cyber engineering, network infrastructure, networking, server virtualization, object-oriented programming, software development, software configuration, software installation, or cloud transition, and cyber security
• Desire to work in a secure lab environment
• Team Player
