Job summary

SeaWorld Orlando is seeking enthusiastic Ambassadors to support daily training and animal care tasks. You will assist with feeding, vitamins, medications, and maintaining clean habitats while engaging guests with energy and passion for wildlife.

Ideal candidates are comfortable presenting on stage, speaking into a microphone, and providing exceptional guest experiences. A related bachelor's degree and CPR certification are preferred; readiness to work a flexible schedule is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and passion for animals.
• Comfort speaking to large groups on stage.
• Proficient with microphone usage.
• CPR training/certification completed.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Biology or related field preferred.
• Marine Mammal Training or Bird of Prey experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Extensive walking and standing; climb/ascend heights if needed.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather; exposure to fumes, dust, odors and temperature extremes.
• Flexible schedule including openings, mid-days, closing shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily husbandry tasks, including vitamins and medications.
• Prepare food and maintain safe, sanitary habitats.
• Observe animals and report abnormalities to supervisor and team.
• Maintain animal records and equipment.
• Assist with educational presentations.
• Proactively engage with guests and respond to inquiries.
• Work with animals using behavioral modification techniques as instructed.
• Become proficient in behavioral modification techniques used at SeaWorld.
