Position: Seasonal Zoo Worker – Rides and Attractions (18+)

Location: Milwaukee County Zoo

Hourly Pay Range: $10.36 - $16.30

Job Summary

Operate rides and attractions such as the Train, Sky Adventure Ropes Course, Zipline, Carousel, and Sky Safari Sky Glide. Provide excellent customer service, ensure safety procedures are followed, and educate guests about exhibits and services.

Responsibilities

1. Complete transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, accepting cash, card, tap, gift cards, or zoo passes.
2. Operate rides, assist guests, and deliver safety instructions.
3. Provide attentive, friendly service to guests, meeting their needs while maintaining zoo standards.
4. Utilize computer applications such as word processing and spreadsheets.
5. Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
6. Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

Additional Notes

This position is open to U.S. residents. Appointees must establish residency in Wisconsin within six months of start date and maintain it during employment. A non-competitive examination will be conducted as part of the hiring process. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of application.
