Job summary

The Fort Worth Zoo invites applicants for a Weekday Zoo School educator role. You will teach and assist with preparing for weekday zoo school programs and education events, working with a developmentally diverse group of students.

You’ll also assist in preparing educational programming as needed. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Education (in progress or completed) and 1–3 years of early-childhood teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in education in progress or completed required.
• 1-3 years early-childhood classroom teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach pre-school/school age students in Weekday Zoo School Program.
• Teach a developmentally diverse range of students.
• Report to work on time, each day of scheduled shift.
• Use time and resources effectively to accomplish program goals.
• Maintain effective business relations with those encountered in the course of work.
