Job summary

Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium is seeking a dedicated Landscaper to maintain our landscaping, horticultural areas, and irrigation under general supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ground and turf/horticulture certification preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience in landscape maintenance or grounds keeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains landscaping and horticultural areas, including plantings.
• Operates gas-powered lawn and horticultural equipment.
• Irrigation and supplementary watering.
• Weeding, mulching, trimming, and general landscape maintenance.
• Snow removal and seasonal outdoor tasks.
• Assists with greenhouse and tropical plant collection.
