Job summary

Charleston County seeks a systems-focused professional to manage EnerGov/EP&L configurations, testing, and deployments within the Zoning and Planning Department. You will work with Tyler Technologies platforms, Bluebeam and BI tools to support modules like HUB, Cashiering, and Payments.

The role requires GIS experience, strong collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on land use planning knowledge and public service excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in CS/tech or 2+ years in Public Administration/Planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid SC driver’s license.
• Experience with EnerGov/EP&L platform configuration and administration.
• Ability to test configurations, deploy changes, and support modules.
• Ability to communicate with technical and business staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform platform administration, design, configuration and development of software solutions.
• Configure and deploy enhancements of the EP&L/EnerGov platform and related modules (HUB, Cashiering, Payments, etc.).
• Build and deploy new work classes and automated processes; manage user accounts and provide support.
• Create, modify and troubleshoot SSRS Reports and other BI outputs with IT support.
• Provide bug fixes, root cause analysis, and collaborate with Tyler support for projects.
