Messer seeks a Transportation Operations Manager to lead daily transport activities for the Braddock location and surrounding sites. You will allocate trained drivers and equipment to ensure continuous product supply to Messer NA customers, while leading cross-functional teams on improvement projects and regional logistics plans.
You will champion safety, train drivers, and manage regulatory compliance, while driving cost control and productivity improvements.
Lead and manage daily Transportation Operations for assigned location(s) by providing properly trained and prepared driver and equipment resources to ensure continuous product supply to Messer NA customers. Typical location will make and deliver multiple product lines. Lead cross-functional support teams on continuous improvement projects and initiatives. Significant involvement with all Logistics action plans to support the Regional Supply network.
