Job summary

Job Summary
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Carpentry Trade required or equivalent level of education or experience.
  • At least (1) one year of hospital experience in engineering (mechanical, carpentry, and painting) preferred.
  • Has some knowledge of building fire walls, smoke compartments, and other structural related compartments.
  • Performs mechanical repairs on faucets, sinks, showers, tubs, and various items associated with maintenance. Understands and follows instructions provided from leadership.
  • Understands and has some knowledge of blue print drawings to perform special task.
  • Demonstrates understands and applies, OSHA, NFPA, requirements as well as GHS Corporate Compliance Policies and Procedures, DHR and JACHO standards.
  • Understands and follows written and oral instructions.
  • Consistent with teamwork and other values associated in the Health System.
