Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Zone Engineer Production in Independence, OH to supervise unit operations and organize workflow across the plant. You will interface with maintenance, SIO Center, and business teams to support safe, efficient production.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong analytical abilities and fluent English. Comprehensive benefits and a 401(k) match are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
  • 2 years of operational or engineering experience required.
  • Solution-oriented with analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of Air Separation, CO2, VSA and Onsite N2/O2 plants is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and English fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise unit operations and organize workflow of the plant.
  • Coordinate interfaces with Industrial/Maintenance, SIO Center and Business Development teams.
  • Support safety, process safety management and compliance requirements.
  • Provide technical and operational support for plant production and maintenance.
