Job summary

GovCIO seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead the Zero Trust strategy and execution across the intelligence enterprise in support of HQ Air Force A2. You will drive cross-functional alignment, deliver a scalable Zero Trust framework protecting data, assets, and operations, and manage governance, metrics, and vendor partnerships.

The role is based at Langley AFB in Hampton, VA as an onsite position, requiring TS/SCI clearance and strong collaboration with cybersecurity, IT, and engineering

Qualifications

• Military or government operations/ intelligence experience required
• Clearance TS/SCI required
• Experience with DoD/IC structures and policies
• Knowledge of intelligence analysis tools and procedures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Zero Trust program roadmap across pillars (identity, device, network, application, data)
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, IT, engineering, and business teams for alignment and adoption
• Lead program governance, milestones, risks, dependencies, and budget considerations
• Translate strategic goals into actionable projects with measurable results
• Establish metrics and reporting for maturity, effectiveness, and compliance
• Engage vendors and executives to evaluate technologies and improve controls
• Drive change management activities like training, communications, and stakeholder engagement
• Incorporate emerging threats and compliance requirements into security strategy
