Qualifications

• 6+ years configuring firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, and traffic load balancing.
• Deep knowledge of L2/L3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VXLAN).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline OR equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and maintain zero-trust SOPs across identity, device, data, and infrastructure.
• Produce policy-as-code reference models mapped to enterprise architecture.
• Extend IaC pipelines (Ansible) for firewalls, switches, SD-WAN, edge fabric.
• Deliver automated, tested playbooks in CI for repeatable deployments.
• Architect backup, failover, and DR workflows for network devices.
• Conduct recovery drills and validate SLA targets (RTO/RPO).
• Integrate vulnerability scanners and threat intel into CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate remediation playbooks and generate SOC/DevSecOps dashboards.
• Centralize topology, inventory, and device state with configuration managers.
• Enforce change-control gates and maintain traceability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into CI/CD.
• Model traffic and forecast capacity; deliver capacity reports.
• Evaluate trends and propose tool/process improvements.
• Prototype environments for complex customer requests.
• Translate business requirements into secure, performant designs.
