Zero Trust Infrastructure Support Specialist (Remote)

Date: Monday, May 5, 2025

Kadiak, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a highly qualified Zero Trust Infrastructure Support Specialist (Remote) to join our team. Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of a Federally Recognized Native American Tribe. Position requires U.S. Citizenship and extensive Zero Trust proficiency.

Summary

The Zero Trust Enterprise Infrastructure Support Specialist serves as the subject matter expert for Zero Trust and is primarily responsible for providing senior-level technical support for the implementation and administration of multiple Zero Trust solutions. Additionally, the role offers Zero Trust consultative support for developing and enhancing enterprise Zero Trust processes and initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide senior-level technical support for the implementation and maintenance of various Zero Trust solutions, collaborating with enterprise engineers, security specialists, and vendors.
  2. Assist in developing a comprehensive agency strategy to enhance Zero Trust maturity across CISA trust pillars: Identity, Devices, Networks, Applications/Workloads, and Data.
  3. Design future-state architectures and identify required technologies for implementing Zero Trust concepts.
  4. Collaborate with business units to develop transition plans that include identification of actors, assets, risks, and policy solutions, following NIST recommended steps.
  5. Manage day-to-day implementation and project activities, independently or with teams.
  6. Organize and report on project planning and progress.
  7. Oversee administrative and managerial project activities, including analysis tools, schedules, work plans, and training.
  8. Analyze IT problems and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  9. Develop and maintain project plans and reporting requirements.
  10. Evaluate and suggest improvements in internal processes and organizational management.
  11. Support strategic planning, policy development, resource management, and infrastructure planning activities.
  12. Assist in developing directives and reporting systems.
  13. Engage in self-development through company trainings.
  14. Plan daily activities to maximize productivity, following policies and supervisor instructions.
  15. Other duties as assigned.

Must possess extensive experience in:

  1. Senior enterprise application systems administration, including installation, management, monitoring, security, and high availability design.
  2. Managing complex applications with dispersed architectures in large enterprises.
  3. Designing and implementing Zero Trust principles in collaboration with multiple business units.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience implementing Zero Trust solutions in large enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) preferred; or at least 5 years of IT systems administration experience.
  • Experience with Palo Alto Prisma and Cortex XDR is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows/Office.
  • Desired certifications: ITIL V3/2011 Foundations, MCSE, MCITP, Security+, CISSP.
  • Ability to obtain a public trust security clearance.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Positive attitude, proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain an MBI Public Trust clearance.

Office Location and Travel:

Remote within CONUS; no travel expected.

Clearance Requirement:

U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
