Job summary

Basecamp Consulting & Solutions LLC in Washington, DC, seeks a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise security controls enforcing Zero Trust across cloud, network, and endpoint. You will support incident remediation and align to NIST 800-53/800-207, and manage IAM/RBAC/PAM/MFA with centralized SIEM logging.

You will participate in SIEM/EDR/XDR threat detection, triage, containment, forensics; cloud security (AWS, Azure); segmentation; hardening; change management;

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Federal Security Clearance.
• NIST 800-53 (AC, CM, SC, AU, IR, SI) and 800-207 implementation; IAM/RBAC/PAM/MFA.
• SIEM + EDR/XDR operations; vulnerability mgmt.
• AWS & Azure security.
• RMF practices; incident response & forensics.

Responsibilities

• Designs/implements/maintains enterprise security controls enforcing Zero Trust across cloud, network, and endpoint.
• Supports IR-finding remediation; aligns to NIST 800-53 & 800-207.
• Manages IAM/RBAC/PAM/MFA; centralized logging into SIEM; vulnerability scanning/remediation & patch coordination.
• SIEM/EDR/XDR threat detection, triage, containment, forensics; cloud security (AWS, Azure); segmentation; hardening; change management; SOPs; RCA; 24/7 monitoring.
• Cross-team collaboration on escalated tickets.
