SOSI is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to architect and evolve the security ecosystem supporting a DoD mission-critical Command and Control enterprise serving more than 5,000 users across the INDOPACOM theater. You’ll unite SIEM, SOAR, and Linux automation into a streamlined platform that delivers telemetry, automated security outcomes, and real-time risk visibility.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent DoD-level cybersecurity experience.
• At least 5 years in cybersecurity engineering in DoD or classified environments.

Aufgaben

• Design and maintain the Zero Trust security roadmap aligned to DoD architecture.
• Translate requirements into configurations, segmentation rules and policies.
• Pilot and integrate new security technologies to close Zero Trust gaps.
• Design, deploy and tune SIEM, including policies and data pipelines.
• Engineer data pipelines to a Common Schema before reaching the SIEM.
• Develop, test and tune detections, dashboards and alerts mapped to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Build and test SOAR playbooks for alert triage, containment and case management.
• Harden endpoint protection and maintain Linux/Windows security.
• Operate and optimize vulnerability scanning and RMF artifacts.
