Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Administrator to support UISCENTCOM operations. You will configure, tune, and maintain SIEM, EDR, C2C, and SOAR platforms, work with Linux, and help optimize security tooling across the CSOC environment.

Responsibilities include designing configurations, developing automation playbooks in SOAR, and collaborating with cybersecurity teams to meet regulatory requirements. A TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification
• 5+ years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize SIEM, EDR, and network access control solutions.
• Customize alert rules, correlations, and detections in SIEM.
• Deploy SIEM instances including clustered deployments and apps.
• Tune EDR policies and scanning parameters to improve threat detection.
• Configure Comply-to-Connect network access control policies.
• Support Linux, edit Splunk configs and apps.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity Engineers and gather end-user requirements.
• Integrate cyber tools with legacy data sources.
• Perform routine maintenance and patching of cybersecurity systems.
• Provide timely support for SIEM, EDR, C2C, and SOAR incidents.
• Conduct system audits and health checks; remediate issues.
• Present tool capabilities to leadership when needed.
• Develop and enforce configuration standards and security policies.
• Monitor compliance via audits and reporting; remediate gaps.
• Automate tasks and create playbooks in SOAR.
• Explore automation and integration opportunities with emerging tech.
• Provide training and share knowledge within the team.
