Job summary

ShorePoint is seeking a Zero Trust Architect/SME (Q/Top Secret) to lead strategic and technical design across federal enterprise environments. You will translate mission requirements into scalable Zero Trust solutions, working with government leadership to shape modernization pathways and security postures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• 15+ years with a bachelor's, 10+ with a master's or 6+ with a PhD.
• Design and implement Zero Trust security architectures in federal environments.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-207, OMB M-22-09, EO 14028.
• IAM modernization, PKI, identity federation and MFA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ZTA SME advising government leadership on strategy and modernization pathways.
• Develop current- and target-state ZTA assessments aligned with federal requirements.
• Translate requirements into Zero Trust designs and system architectures.
• Design ZTA reference architectures for identity, network, data and application security pillars.
• Evaluate security controls, data flows and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Lead roadmaps, implementation plans, and sequencing strategies for Zero Trust.
• Collaborate to integrate Zero Trust with identity services, cloud platforms, and security tools.
• Produce architectural diagrams and briefing materials for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with security, classification and data protection policies.
