Entry Level – No Experience Necessary.

Job Description

Be a Pizza Zealot and a team player. As a Zealot, you will learn on the job – training each prep and cook station at Zalat while increasing your responsibility and pay. Make sure you are prepared to:

1. Balance high volume environment with Pizza Perfection. On our busiest days, our Z Boxes turn out 1,200 pizzas.
2. Work hard in the kitchen around hot ovens and around other Zealots.
3. Be a night owl. We are open super duper late. We are also open on weekends and around the holidays (but we are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day!).
4. Report to the shop’s shift leads and managers.

Job Specifications

No experience necessary. At Zalat, you will learn on the job – training each prep and cook station while increasing your responsibility and pay. Responsibilities include:

1. Prepping food, cooking, cleaning, and expediting (expo).
2. Participating in ongoing training and development.
3. Being punctual, respectful, and your original badass self!
4. Having the ability to lift up to 25lbs as needed multiple times per shift; standing and walking for extended periods of time.
5. Making the Best Pizza in the Universe.

A food handler’s certification is required. If you do not currently have one, we will pay for you to study and take your exam.
