College of the Sequoias Community College District acceptsapplications for part-time adjunct faculty pools to teachArchitecture within its Industrial and TechnologyDepartment continuously. Screening committees will conduct the screening of candidates. Meeting the minimum qualifications for aposition does not assure the applicant of an interview. If thedepartment does not have an immediate need to add candidates totheir pool, applications remain in the queue for considerationuntil the need arises, or for one year in active status.

PART-TIME ADJUNCT POOLS

Part-Time Adjunct Faculty assignments may include weekend and/orevening classes at the Visalia Campus, the Hanford EducationalCenter, or the Tulare College Center.

Part-Time Adjunct faculty positions are temporary positions and donot accrue rights to tenure.

Job Duties

Under the general direction of a dean or director, adjunct faculty will provide comprehensive classroom instruction to communitycollege students. The majority of our departments require the ability to teach face-to-face classes. You may find our current course listings in our Academic Catalog`. Adjunct faculty will also beexpected to collect and submit data on student learning objectivesas needed.
