Job Summary
Roll‑Off Drivers are responsible for preparing, securing and the eventual transport of open‑top containers to various disposal sites which include landfills, transfer facilities and customer job‑site locations. Drivers navigate driveways, alleyways, job sites and traffic‑filled roadways, often operating in tight environments, backing up long distances such as private driveways, and in heavy industrial and crowded city environments. Responsibilities include handling pickup, hauling, checking the container, completing reports, and complying with all transportation laws and procedures. Drivers maintain a clean truck, interact well with others, provide quality customer service, and follow safety policies and procedures. Drivers must maintain records, communication, and organization skills.
Job Requirements
- 1‑3 years of experience as a Class A or B Commercial Truck Driver
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate manual transmission
- Ability to operate a roll‑off dumpster
- Attention to detail
- Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding routes and responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver and empty construction site dumpsters
- Verify types of materials being transported and ensure that they do not exceed weight restrictions
- Inspect the truck before and after every shift, checking oil, gas and water levels, lights and tires
- Promptly report any accidents, injuries or mechanical faults to management
- Maintain accurate driver logs
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations
- Communicate any customer requests with dispatch
- Follow the route assigned by dispatch and understand the customer's needs
- Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice

Overtime available. 45‑55 hours per week on average
Monday‑Saturday 6:30 am
Physical Demands
- Hooking up and disengaging dumpster
- Opening and closing large dumpster doors
- Maneuvering through landfills and job sites
- Climbing in and out of large trucks
- Driving local and home every night
