Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist to lead performance improvement initiatives across Parts, Service and Sales divisions. You will develop reporting packages, collaborate with CAT and OEM reps, and drive customer experience and revenue growth.

The role requires strong relationship-building, project management experience, and a commitment to safety and process excellence across the YPS division.

Qualificações

What You Will Be Doing:

The Operational Excellence Specialist leads key initiatives supporting the performance improvement of the divisions parts, operations, customer experience and revenue growth of the Yancey Power Systems. The purpose is to work collaboratively across the Parts, Service and Sales groups.

• Manage, understand and report on all YPS / Caterpillar metrics for Parts, Service, and Sales.,
• Develop Parts growth strategiesand customer experience plans
• Design and implement customer relationship improvements (projects/programs)
• Lead operational efficiency projects targeting the YPS Parts and Service relationship
• Provide SME knowledge ofbusinessproducts and value propositions of the YPS Parts and Service division
• Write business proposalsand prepare project plans supporting YPS parts and service group program enhancements
• Build relationships and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders of Programs
• Identify, map, leverage businessstrengths and customer needs to support program development

The Specialist will also be responsible for developing and deploying daily/weekly/monthly management reporting packages to support the local branches to improve operational performance. The role includes active engagement with CAT and other OEM representatives on parts, service, and sales business initiatives, i.e. CAT Excellence program, DDC, Service Commitment. This position is also responsible for promoting a safe workplace and developing a "Safety First" culture.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in required safety programs and ensure that all employees complete safety training and work in a safe manner.
• Responsible for the identification, development and implementation plan of Division performance improvement initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison for CAT and other OEM representatives.
• Support and train employees on Standard Operating Procedures and ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed.
• Develop project plans supporting key initiatives in the YPS division.
• Plan, enhance and develop financial reporting to better control expenses.
• Monitor inventory levels to assure customer needs can be met on a timely basis.
• Assist in the development of revenue and profit goals, inventory requirements, and headcount requirements supporting YPS budget purposes.
• Lead required training supporting key initiatives.
• Become proficient in change management.
• Support and communicate regularly with the Service and Sales Teams
• Refine monthly Parts reporting tools with the goals of ease of us and transparency.
• Develop monitoring of key initiative performance post implementation.
• Become a "champion" of a process improvement culture.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have prior experience in customer service management. This position also requires someone who enjoys talking to people, developing relationships with customers and working in a team environment.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience required.
• Specific industry, project manager or supply chain systems training desired.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Possess the necessary problem-solving skills to meet the needs of our customers and employees.
• Excellent people skills with customer service experience.

License, Certifications, or Training Requirements:

• Must complete Yancey and Industry Safety Training Requirements

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:

Light: Occasionally Lift/Carry/Lower 1 – 15 Lbs, seldom Lift/Carry/Lower 15 – 30 Lbs, never Lift/Carry/Lower +30 Lbs. Occasionally pushing/pulling, reaching (both above and below shoulder), bending/twisting, walking, standing, repetition – hand/wrist simple and firm grasping. Seldom crouching/stooping/squatting, crawling/kneeling, climbing/stepping.

• While out in the field may encounter customer site environments (less than 25% of the time) which may be extremely hot (over 90 degrees) or cold (less than 40 degrees). Environment may include vibrations, strong odors, moving mechanical parts, flammable liquids and gases, oils and solvents, and walking on gravel/uneven ground. Appropriate PPE maybe required and mandated by the customer. Typically works in a temperature controlled office.
