Job summary

Snowball is seeking a YouTube Video Editor to transform raw footage into engaging, educational content for Kajabi. You will work with Kajabi's creative partner Snowball to refine storytelling and formats for YouTube, balancing education with entertainment to grow audience reach.

In this role, you’ll edit long-form and short-form videos, apply motion graphics, and collaborate with producers to ensure polished, engaging outputs that drive viewer retention and impact for creators and entrepreneurs

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional video editing experience with a strong YouTube portfolio.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Frame.io.
• Strong storytelling instincts with a deep understanding of pacing, retention, and audience engagement.
• Experience editing educational, creator, business, or brand content.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with producers and creative teams.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Edit YouTube-first, long-form content with strong pacing, structure, and audience retention.
• Shape compelling narratives from interviews, educational content, customer stories, and product-focused videos.
• Collaborate with producers and strategists to refine story structure, tone, and creative direction.
• Create engaging short-form cutdowns and social edits from long-form content.
• Incorporate motion graphics, text animation, music, and sound design to improve clarity and viewer engagement.
• Balance speed with quality while maintaining organized project files and efficient workflows.
• Iterate quickly based on creative feedback and YouTube performance insights.
