Google LLC’s YouTube Internal and Executive Communications team seeks a communications leader to guide a high-performing team and advise executive leaders across product, engineering, UX, and Trust and Safety on internal messaging, change management, and speeches.
You will craft strategic campaigns, support executives, and coach leaders to clearly communicate complex issues, aligning product strategy with the company’s broader narrative. This role emphasizes collaboration and senior-level impact.
As a member of the Global Communications & Public Affairs team, you will work cross-functionally to help communicate with journalists and other thought leaders; devise specific communications materials and campaigns based on understanding of journalists' interests; engage in face-to-face meetings with commentators and other opinion formers; develop print and web-based material supporting these campaigns; and counter misinformation that might interfere with our business and ability to serve our users. We're looking for great communicators who can understand complex issues and explain them in person and also via well written, simple blog posts, FAQs, video scripts and more.
As a leader, you will keep your team on track with the overall strategy, giving them direction when it comes to specific product and business area decisions. You will also provide direct communications support for senior executives.
We’re looking for a communications leader to join YouTube’s Internal and Executive Communications team. In this role, you’ll be a strategic partner to YouTube's executive leaders, leading a team that focuses on creative and strategic communications in specific product areas and across the company. You will help leaders across Product, Engineering, UX and Trust and Safety communicate the company’s strategy to their teams and the wider Google audience. You should be a great communicator, who can understand complex issues, break them down, and coach executives to then communicate them. Your work ensures alignment across YouTube's product and engineering organizations through strategic storytelling and high-impact internal events.
