YouTube Motion Graphics Designer/Video Editor (Remote)

Our video team is seeking a talented and creative Motion Graphics Designer/Video Editor to join us and enhance our YouTube content! Reporting to the Head of Video, we want an editor passionate about refining footage to produce high-quality videos and contribute to our channel's visual identity.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement MOGRTs (Motion Graphics Templates) and graphic design templates for thumbnails to elevate branding and streamline post-production.
• Edit raw footage into polished YouTube videos aligned with the channel’s style and audience.
• Collaborate with the YouTube team to understand video vision and goals.
• Trim, cut, and enhance videos with music, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and overlays.
• Optimize videos for YouTube best practices (format, length, resolution, aspect ratio).
• Implement stakeholder feedback to improve videos with quick turnaround.
• Organize video assets to streamline editing processes.
• Stay updated on video editing trends, YouTube best practices, and digital content.
• Provide feedback to on-camera talent to ensure quality footage.
• Review video performance metrics and collaborate on content improvements.
• Assist in creating YouTube Shorts and other formats as needed.

Experience:

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably for YouTube or digital media.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially designing and using MOGRTs.
• Strong knowledge of video formats, compression, and resolution for YouTube.
• Graphic design skills for compelling thumbnails.
• Ability to mentor and coach others.
• Attention to detail and adaptability to feedback.
• Creative storytelling skills to engage digital audiences.
• Experience with audio editing, sound design, and music is a plus.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely.
• Excellent time-management skills to handle multiple projects.
