You will leverage YouTube analytics, thumbnails, metadata, and publishing cadence, partnering with Programming, Operations, Production, Marketing, and Digital teams to align with platform strategy. This onsite role requires 4 days in NYC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing a major legacy brand's YouTube channel.
• YouTube certification preferred.
• Editorial voice with proven global brand experience.
• Expertise in digital content optimization, monetization, YouTube Studio/Analytics, SEO and best practices.
• Translate trends into actionable content strategies and collaborate with creative teams.
• Maintain tone and visual consistency with brand guidelines.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and optimization of National Geographic's YouTube channels.
• Optimize content, metadata, and thumbnails; manage titles, descriptions, and end screens.
• Monitor performance metrics and apply insights to improve content strategy.
• Collaborate with Programming, Operations, Production, Marketing, and Digital teams.
• Support platform features, shorts, and live initiatives; ensure timely delivery.
