Are you a Data Engineer with a passion for sharing your knowledge and building an audience on YouTube? Do you love breaking down complex topics like pipelines, data warehousing, SQL, and big data tools in a way that’s engaging, clear, and accessible? Then we want you to join the Data Engineer Academy team!

We’re looking for a YouTube Content Creator with a strong background in data engineering who can create long-form YouTube content designed to educate and inspire our growing audience of aspiring and early-career data engineers.

What You'll Do:

• Plan, film, and edit long-form YouTube videos based on your knowledge and experience in data engineering
• Create content that simplifies technical concepts (e.g., Airflow, Spark, Kafka, SQL, ETL processes, data pipelines, and more)
• Share insights, tutorials, career advice, and practical walkthroughs
• Collaborate with our internal team for topic support, scripting assistance, and audience growth strategies
• Help us build a standout content library that positions Data Engineer Academy as the go-to learning platform in this space

What We're Looking For:

• Professional experience in data engineering (1+ years preferred)
• A passion for teaching and sharing your knowledge with others
• Comfortable speaking on camera and creating educational or tutorial-style videos
• Ability to create content solo (camera/mic/editing software access preferred—editing support will be provided)
• Basic video editing knowledge is a plus but not required
• Have experience teaching or mentoring others in the tech/data space
• Understand audience retention and how to keep videos engaging
• Want to grow your personal brand alongside our platform
