Job description

We are seeking a creative, driven, and detail-oriented Social Media Expert with a strong focus on YouTube channel growth and cross-platform content promotion. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience editing YouTube videos, expanding subscriber bases, and engaging audiences on Instagram and Facebook. This role involves content planning, execution, brand promotion, and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance online visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  1. YouTube Channel Management & Growth
  • Edit and optimize YouTube videos, including creating eye-catching thumbnails, crafting compelling titles, writing SEO-rich descriptions, and selecting appropriate tags.
  • Produce high-quality, engaging video content that aligns with the brands voice and objectives.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to increase subscribers, watch time, and overall engagement.
  • Monitor YouTube Analytics to evaluate performance (e.g., audience retention, click-through rates, watch time) and use insights to refine content and optimize results.
  • Social Media Content Sharing
    • Promote YouTube videos on Instagram and Facebook through regular posts, stories, and reels to boost cross-platform reach.
    • Engage actively with the audience by responding to comments, DMs, and conducting interactive elements such as polls and Q&As.
    • Build and nurture a strong digital community by encouraging discussions, gathering feedback, and fostering brand loyalty.
  • Brand Promotion
    • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to elevate brand awareness and drive engagement.
    • Coordinate with the internal marketing and creative teams to ensure content aligns with broader brand strategies and messaging.
    • Identify collaboration opportunities with influencers, partners, and other stakeholders to expand brand reach.
  • Content Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, ensuring a consistent publishing schedule.
    • Research emerging trends, competitor tactics, and platform best practices to keep content fresh, relevant, and ahead of the curve.
    • Experiment with new formats (e.g., Shorts, Reels, Carousels) to capture audience interest and drive higher engagement.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as views, engagement rate, reach, click-through rate (CTR), and subscriber growth across platforms.
    • Generate regular performance reports that highlight successes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable optimization strategies.
    • Present insights to stakeholders and adjust strategies based on data-driven feedback.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in YouTube channel management and social media marketing.
    • Should be proficient in Hindi language, both spoken and written.
    • Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
    • Deep understanding of YouTube SEO, audience retention tactics, and analytics platforms.
    • Proven experience promoting content and building engagement on Instagram and Facebook.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
    • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and excellent time-management abilities.
    • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

    Preferred (Nice to Have)

    • Experience with paid social media advertising (Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads, etc.).
    • Familiarity with influencer outreach and collaboration strategies.
    • Knowledge of design tools such as Canva, as well as social media scheduling platforms like Hootsuite or Buffer.
