Job Title: YouthLine Major Gifts & Corporate Sponsorship Manager
Status: Full-time/ Non-exempt
Reports to: Deputy Director of Development
Salary: $60,000 - $72,250 depending on education, certifications, and experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, matching 401k, access to professional development funds, etc.
Location: Hybrid: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in office.

We offer help and hope to individuals and communities while promoting mental health for all. Our work addresses a spectrum of needs that include intervention, prevention, and advocacy. We educate, train, and advocate to prevent issues of substance use, mental health challenges, and thoughts of suicide from reaching crisis levels. But when a crisis arises or support is needed, we are available 24/7/365 to intervene with personalized help.
YouthLine Major Gifts and Corporate Sponsorship Officer Overview: The YouthLine is a service of Lines for Life – an Oregon-based nonprofit dedicated to the prevention of substance abuse and suicide and the promotion of mental wellness for all. Every day, YouthLine volunteers help youth in crisis find hope by answering calls from youth struggling with their mental health from all over the United States. The YouthLine crisis line reaches over 20,000 young people in crisis every year by text, call, and chat, and we’re growing.
The YouthLine Major Gifts and Corporate Sponsorship Officer will help donors fulfill their philanthropic goals through a relationship with YouthLine. The right candidate will be someone passionate about youth mental health and eager to work to educate, advocate, and raise awareness of YouthLine’s mission and impact at the national level. This role prioritizes fundraising from individual major donors and corporate sponsorships.
YouthLine Major Gifts and Corporate Sponsorship Officer Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Development: Lines for Life is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to work with the Development and YouthLine leadership to design and implement a Major Gifts strategy supporting YouthLine growth over a three-year period. The YL Major Gifts & Sponsorship Officer will work with YouthLine leadership to understand program needs and communicate them effectively to potential donors and design and implement a Corporate Sponsorship strategy to expand corporate gifts and support for YouthLine.
The YL MG&CSO will be responsible for securing major gifts starting at $10,000+ to support YouthLine’s annual budget of $3.5 million, as we work to increase funding from individuals and corporations, designing and implementing a broader Strategic Plan and Proposed Funding for YouthLine. This position includes developing new and innovative strategies to expand YouthLine fundraising to support the expansion of services across the United States.
Donor Cultivation: The YL MG&CSO will pursue networking and relationship-building opportunities through the education of foundations, corporations, and stakeholders in order to raise the profile of YouthLine nationwide. The successful candidate will plan and execute individual and corporate donor identification, stewardship, and recognition. Work individually and collaboratively to create presentations and asks of potential funders, as well as preparing proposals, presentations, and reports that build and maintain strong relationships with corporate funders and individual donors alike.
Innovation and Best Practices: Stay updated on global best practices in fundraising and incorporate innovative techniques and use the latest fundraising technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Use YouthLine and other organization data to drive decision-making and development strategies.
As a member of the Development team, there may be other duties assigned by the Director of Development.

YouthLine Major Gifts and Corporate Sponsorship Officer Salary Details:
$60,000-$72,500 depending on experience. New hires for this position are typically expected to be brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range, depending on qualifications and internal equity. For example, a candidate with 3 years of experience would typically be placed on the low end of the salary range. Candidates with 10+ years of proven corporate sponsorship and major gifts development experience and relevant certifications would be placed on the higher end.
