Lines for Life’s YouthLine program in Maui seeks a part-time Clinical Supervisor to provide direct supervision, mentorship, and clinical oversight to youth and young adult volunteers. This role also supports the development and delivery of clinical training and fosters a safe, inclusive environment for youth growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a related social sciences field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with youth in crisis, mentorship, or mental health setting.
• Crisis intervention training (ASIST, SafeTALK, or YMHFA) preferred.
• High cultural competency and commitment to trauma-informed care.
• Ability to assess and manage high-risk situations under pressure.
• Proficient in database and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor YouthLine volunteers during calls, texts, and chats.
• Provide real-time clinical guidance and coaching to volunteers and interns.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development for volunteers.
• Attend required meetings including supervision and staff gatherings.
• Assist with crisis intervention trainings and scheduling of volunteers.
