Job summary

Global Kids, Inc. is seeking a program manager to lead workforce services in collaboration with DYCD, NYC Public Schools, and partner sites. You will oversee employer engagement, youth enrollment, job development, and program compliance while guiding staff and coordinating with school partners.

The role requires building community partnerships, administering workforce goals, and ensuring services align with GK's mission to empower youth through global citizenship and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, social work, non-profit management, or related field.
• Experience and understanding of youth workforce programs.
• 2–3 years of experience with middle/high school-aged youth.
• Commitment to antiracist pedagogical practices in diverse settings.
• Knowledge of NYC social service resources for youth.
• Familiarity with NYC Public Schools and Community Schools Initiative is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DYCD Workforce obligations, enrollment, and payroll targets on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Develop and maintain relationships with parents, community members, school staff, and stakeholders.
• Manage recruitment, enrollment, and payroll for program participants.
• Coordinate participant orientation and training workshops; ensure program compliance.
• Collaborate with Global Kids staff and youth to generate program ideas aligned with Community School goals.
