The Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) and the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies supporting services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. We are leading human services organizations meeting the needs of children, youth, families, homeless individuals, and older adults across Manhattan and NYC. We work daily for a society where all can make choices leading to better lives. The Isaacs Center primarily focuses on children, low-income families, out-of-school youth, and aging residents, operating community centers in East Harlem and Yorkville, delivering impactful, innovative, and intergenerational programs.
Goddard Riverside collaborates with NYC Department of Youth and Community Development to alleviate poverty effects and offer opportunities via a Beacon Community Center on the Upper Westside. Beacons serve youth from kindergarten to 21+ and adults, operating year-round during non-school hours, including summer, in partnership with NYC Public Schools for Summer Rising.
Youth Workers assist groups of co-ed children (grades K-8), with activities divided by grade for academic sessions and engaging in reading, project-based learning, games, social-emotional skills, and field trips in the afternoons. Staff work to create a positive, creative environment fostering social and intellectual development.
Monday-Friday, 35-40 hours/week, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, from June 23, 2025, to August 15, 2025.
